Lady D, was born Diana Niroshini Naidoo on December 28, 1987 at Seboche Hospital in Butha-Buthe, Lesotho. She was born and brought up in the Butha-Buthe district in the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Her Primary Education was done at Sofia English Medium and Secondary Education at Butha-Buthe High School. In 2006 she enrolled at the National University of Lesotho where she did her 1 st year of B.Sc Degree. She then took a transfer to University of South Africa (UNISA) where she is pursuing a degree in Software Engineering. This young lady also holds a National Diploma in Information Technology.
She has poetry anthology which consists of 38 poems ready to be published anytime upon God`s mercy, entitled ``Live Life Fully”. Diana`s poetry embraces almost all emotions. Her work diversifies in various channels as her creative and artistic thinking leads her. Her poetic inspiration was her father whose collection of poems was recited to her from the tender age of seven. From eleven years of age she started on her first poem entitled “Education”. Her High school life was filled with performances of poetry and debate. Her debate and poems were outstandingly good and the audience loved her performance on stage. That's where her love for the stage began.

Poetry to Lady D is a driving passion within her that burns out flames of poems to entice the reader. Her love for poetry is unconditional ‘true love' as she says. She believes poetry is the language of the hearts where a single word can mean so much. Some of her poems are normally published on Informative newspaper and on Finite magazine where they are receiving a lot of recognition. Currently she is a Bam Promotion Artist specializing in poetry. This is her playground for poetic aspirations. Besides her poetic aspirations, she is also a business-minded young woman who owns and runs her own internet café named Real Tech Computers in Butha-Buthe successfully. |
